LitePoint Collaborates with TsingCar to Deliver High Performance of UWB Device
TsingCar selects LitePoint’s IQgig-UWB platform to validate the RF performance of UWB digital key products
LitePoint, a leading provider of wireless test solutions, announced its collaboration with TsingCar, an advocator and a leading provider of UWB Technology and products for cars, to validate RF performance testing for its UWB digital key products using the LitePoint IQgig-UWB platform. With its advantages in UWB testing, the LitePoint’s IQgig-UWB platform will be used by TsingCar to aid in developing high-quality UWB chip and system solutions. This creates a safer, more reliable and convenient smart travel experience for users in practical applications.
With the centimeter-level accurate ranging capability, UWB digital keys can accurately perceive vehicles at close range by arranging multiple anchor points in vehicles and combining them with handheld keys or mobile phones. According to a research report of Shujubang, passenger cars with front-mounted UWB will exceed one million in the next 3–5 years.
Deeply involved in the field of UWB for years, TsingCar has developed complete end-to-end UWB technology solutions for vehicles, such as UWB digital keys, UWB vehicle-borne radars, and high-precision vehicle positioning. LitePoint IQgig-UWB equipment meets the requirements of TsingCar for high-standard products and provides customers with a positive user experience.
“After using LitePoint IQgig-UWB equipment, the R&D verification cycle is significantly shortened, which greatly improves the R&D design efficiency. It also significantly improves production efficiency and provides a strong guarantee for production consistency,” Zhang Xiyang, R&D Director of TsingCar, said. “The equipment has become a powerful tool for the development of new UWB digital key functions and the mass production in various projects.”
“LitePoint is happy to be working with a leading supplier in automotive technology,” said Adam Smith, Director of Marketing at LitePoint. “As part of the product development process, IQgig-UWB not only ensures that UWB devices meet the stringent UWB performance specifications, it gets results in Engineer’s hands fast so that they can quickly make design adjustments.”
Through this cooperation, TsingCar developed the UWB digital key technology with the solution provided by LitePoint, which helps open up a path to the intelligent transportation ecology and empower the high-quality development of the UWB automotive industry. In the future, LitePoint will continue to apply its UWB expertise to compliance and certification and promote the vigorous development of the UWB ecosystem with its partners.
